Tylyn Acoba

Teacher

Tylyn was born and raised in Hawaii. In 2010 her family moved to Washington State. She began in gymnastics at age 2 and started competing at age 5. Tylyn began dancing at age 12, becoming a teaching assistant shortly after. She started taking Acro classes then slowly began to explore and fall in love with other dance styles such as Hip Hop, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary/Lyrical, and Tap. Tylyn was a competitive dancer for three years, becoming an instructor in 2021. With over a decade of dance and teaching experience she enjoys getting to share knowledge and love of dance with students.

Tylyn had been a competitive dance teacher and choreographer for three years and has received multiple awards for her dances.

Fun fact: Tylyn has an older twin sister.
