Mackenzie comes from a long line of musical theatre performers so it only made sense for her to follow suit. She studied dance, voice and acting throughout her childhood and continued her training with a 𝐁𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐫𝐞 at Central Washington University.

Throughout that time, she performed in many productions across the state and on an international tour through Bulgaria and Italy. She moved to Mount Vernon, WA to continue performing as Cinderella and Evil Queen with Enchanting Events and had a blast acting for corporate events and birthday parties almost every weekend.

She has always loved to teach as well as perform and was the theatre teacher at Gabriel's Art Kids in Bellingham, WA for ages 2-12. There she taught classes as well as wrote and produced winter programs and end of the year plays.

Some of her favorite roles on stage include Lily in "The Secret Garden", Rapunzel in "Into the Woods", Johanna in "Sweeney Todd", Vivienne Kensington in "Legally Blonde", and Truly Scrumptious in "Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang".
