Liz Barth
Teacher
Liz was born and raised in Western Washington. She began dancing at age 4. Growing up as a competitive dancer, she has trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Contemporary, Hip-Hop, Acro, Modern, Musical Theater, and has even dabbled in Bollywood, Ballroom and Irish. Liz has performed with the tap company Tap 24.7 in Seattle, Washington. She also performed with her high school crew in Hip-Hop shows around Western Washington. At age 16 she started her teaching career and immediately fell in love with teaching dance. Her goal is to help her students grow into amazing, safe dancers and well rounded and kind humans. Currently a college student studying biology and physical sciences, Liz approaches dance from a scientific view in hopes of preventing injuries with her students and extending their dance careers. Liz has been certified under Relative Motion Teaching Certification. Liz has choreographed multiple group and solo dances for regional competitions that have had high scores and Tap Choreography awards. She has continued her dance education by attending dance educator conferences and workshops both regionally and nationally. She is excited to share her love of dance and inspire the same for her students!
Fun Fact: Liz has a pet Betta fish named Moon Supreme, and he has three shrimp roommates, all named Bryan.
